Obituary for John T. McConnell
Providence:   McConnell, John T., 67, died Thursday at the R.I. Hospital.  A lifelong Providence area resident, he was a son of the late Robert J. and Gladys A. (Greenwood) McConnell and nephew of his namesake, the late Rev. John T. McConnell.
John was a self employed real estate owner and manager with properties in Providence, Warwick and Cranston.
He leaves 3 sisters: Patricia Scott and her husband Arlon of Louisville, KY, Kathleen Nerney and her husband William of Warwick and Diane Cormier and her husband Albert of Salem, NH. He was predeceased by his sisters Roberta McConnell Beauchamp and Sharon McConnell. He also leaves 10 nieces and nephews and a host of good friends from the Holy Name School, LaSalle Academy and the Elgin Drug Store, in addition to his many faithful tenants.
 A Celebration of John’s life will be held on Sunday, February, 8th in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence.  The family will start receiving friends beginning at 2PM with a celebration of his life starting at 3PM.  Burial will be private.
