Obituary for Thomas W. Furey
Thomas W. Furey, 74, of North Smithfield, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 13th, 2014.  He was the beloved husband of 49 years of Margaret J. (Mullen) Furey.  He was the son of the late Thomas E. Furey and Helen (Murphy) Furey.
 
Thomas was employed for 40 years as a chemistry teacher at Blackstone Millville Regional High School and since retirement has been teaching and tutoring at Community College of Rhode Island.
 
Tom is also survived by his loving sister, Audrey Furey of Boulder CO and his loving brother Frank J. and his wife Jane of Greenville, RI.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Friday, February 21 at 11am in St. Raymond’s Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence
 
Burial will be private.
 
Contributions in Tom’s memory can be made to Friends of North Smithfield Animal Shelter, PO Box 653, Slatersville, Rhode Island  02876.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Friday, February 21 at 11am in St. Raymond’s Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence. Burial will be private.
