Obituary for Paula Carey
Paula Carey, 73 formerly of Narragansett Parkway Warwick died on Sunday at the R.I. Hospital. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Krall) Carey, she was raised in Rumford and had lived in Warwick for 35 years
She worked as a tax accountant for Edwards, Angell Palmer & Dodge for 42 years retiring in 2012.
She was involved the Benefit St. Players and served as their Financial Secretary and was the former president and treasurer for the Narragansett Village Condo Association in Warwick.
She was a graduate of Bay View Academy and Community College of R.I.
She leaves her Brother Bruce Carey and his wife Anne of Saunderstown and 2 nieces Daria Carey of Cumberland and Keely Carey of Weston, MA and 3 grand nieces: Emmie, Cece and Maggie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10am in St. Paul’s Church, Edgewood. Masks are required as is social distancing. Burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the R.I. Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave. Providence RI 02907 or to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital,. 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
