Nancy E. Murray, 80, died Wednesday at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Providence a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Kiernan) Donnelly, she was a Portsmouth resident for 50 years.
She totally dedicated her life to her family which includes her children: James J. Murray III of Portsmouth, Karen E. Moody (Eric) of Cumming, GA, Robert E. Murray (Denise) of Wakefield, Michael D. Murray (Jeanne) of Middletown, Abby N. Breadwood (Allan) of Coventry, Edward J. Murray (Rosemary) of Newport and Virginia B. Dionne (Scott) of Tiverton, her beloved grandchildren: Daniel, Ryan, Alyssa, Christopher, Tyler, Edward, Brett, Victoria, Benjamin, Emma and Alexandra and great grandchildren: Cailin and David.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10am in the Lady Chapel of Holy Name Church, Camp St., Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Monday 3-6 in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence. Donations in her memory may be made to the Visiting Nurse Services of Newport & Bristol, 1185 East Main Rd.
