Obituary for Madeleine B. McManus
Madeleine B. McManus passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2022, at the Grace Barker Nursing Home in Warren. She was the beloved wife of Robert J. McManus.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Bernadette (Boucher) Lamoureux, and a lifelong resident of Rumford.
Madeleine enjoyed spending time with family, gardening and trips to Lake George, NY. She was a parishioner of St. Margaret Church.
Besides her husband she leaves her four children: Craig McManus, his wife Elizabeth, Debra Marzetta, her husband Jon, both of Rumford, Susan Taylor, her husband Richard, of Attleboro, and Christine Couturier, her husband Michael, of Westport. She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Calling hours for relatives and friends will be Tuesday, February 22, 2022, from 4-7pm in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home, 210 Taunton Ave. East Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, at 10am at St Margaret Church, Rumford. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Margaret School Scholarship Fund, 42 Bishop Ave. Rumford, RI 02916.
