Obituary for Kenneth "Duff" Lewis
Kenneth “Duff” Lewis, 63, of East Providence, died Wednesday at the R.I. Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy (Herlihy) Lewis.
Born in Kalamazoo, MI he was the son of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Robinson) Lewis. He was an East Providence resident for 5 years previously living in Providence.
Duff was a substitute teacher at Hope High School in Bristol and at Barrington High School for 15 years. Prior to moving to R.I. he was an attorney and a public defender in Washington DC.
He attended the Naval Academy for two years and the received his undergraduate and Law degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Besides his wife he leaves 3 nephews and 3 nieces.
Services will be private and donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA, 186 Amaral St. Riverside, RI 02915.
