Obituary for John B. McEnery, Jr.
John B. McEnery, Jr. of Rumford, RI, passed away on Wednesday November 11th. He was the son of the late John B. McEnery, Sr., and Geraldine (Burns) McEnery. He leaves three children, Chelsea Jaensch, Carley McEnery, and Mac McEnery, his fiancé Kathleen O’Connor, his brother James McEnery, and sister Kathryn D’Ovidio. He also leaves two grandchildren and a wellspring of beloved friends and extended family.
John grew up in and returned to Rumford, RI, after raising his family in nearby Seekonk, MA. He was the owner and operator of Furnace & Duct Supply Co., Inc. in Providence, Rhode Island for over forty years.
He loved loud music, fast cars, flying planes, beautiful guitars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and his family. He was an amateur astronomer who loved to look at the night sky. He had a heart of gold and was welcome wherever he went, and equally enjoyed the solitude of his backyard on the Turner Reservoir. He is dearly missed.
