Francis B. Cahill, 88, from Providence and East Greenwich, RI and Naples, FL passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, May 27. He was born on December 10, 1929 in Providence, RI to Francis A. and Mary (Masterson) Cahill. His younger brother was Gerald G. Cahill (deceased). On June 25, 1960 he married the love his life Dolores Artesani and together they had two children. Frank worked in sales at NYNEX for most of his career, a job he truly loved. Frank was a lifelong, avid golfer and devoted Patriots fan. He never missed a game and had encyclopedic knowledge of every player’s stats. During his retirement, Frank and his wife spent 20 years traveling the world. Those who knew him describe him as an optimist who was always cheerful, gregarious and passionate about life. His biggest passion was his family, who he loved dearly.
