Obituary for Finley Thomas Biehl
Finley Thomas Biehl was granted his angel wings on August 7th, 2017, blessing all of us during his sixteen short months in this world.
Finley, born March 16, 2016, was the son Adam and Andrea (Huntoon) Biehl of Barrington, RI, and is survived by his sister Grace. His maternal grandparents are Howard and Ann Huntoon of Hope, RI; paternal grandparents Eileen & Bert Simpson, of Merritt Island, Florida; and paternal grandmother Dianne Biehl of Fairview Park, Ohio. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Thomas Biehl.
Born a warrior, Finley gave us a lifetime of love during his short time on earth. We feel blessed that there were so many family, friends and caregivers that Finley has touched in some small way throughout his memorable life.
A private service will be held this week at Swan Point Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is encouraging donations to the following non-profit organization which supports children with this rare disease and their families: Bohring-Opitz Syndrome Foundation, P.O. Box 560475, Orlando, FL 32856, http://bos-foundation.org/make-a-donation In memo section, please indicate “In Remembrance of Finley.”
With Finley’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him every day, he will forever remain in our hearts. We are so thankful that Finley’s sister Gracie could learn from her brother so she can hold dear the memory of Finley’s gentle spirit.
Finley has taught us so much about life and priorities, and it has been a privilege to be his parents.
