Cecile M. Thompson, RN, 92 of Warwick passed away on February 15, 2016. She was the wife of the late John Thompson.
She leaves her children: Carol (Paul) Lindberg of Cranston, Jane (Ken) Lindberg, Wendy (Ed) Lafontaine, John Thompson, Jr., James (Eileen) Thompson all of Warwick and Kathleen (Lon) Hildebrand of Summerville, SC, 11 Grandchildren, Jill, Greg and Mark Lindberg, Jennifer and Julie Hildebrand, Tracy Gallant, Christine Dunn, Megan and Kelly Thompson and Dan and Nick Thompson and 10 great grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings: Linda Macy and Tim Clifford of Ct. and Carl Clifford of Fl., her Sister in Law; Rita Lemaire and dear friends Marge Bell and Bella. She was the sister of the late Jeannette Brown and Gene Lemaire.
Cele enjoyed and treasured her time with family and friends. She loved her church and was active for many years. She also enjoyed painting.
There will be a memorial service on Thursday, February 25 at 10am in the Lakewood Baptist Church, 255 Atlantic Ave., Warwick, RI 02888. Donations may be made to the church.
