Obituary for Roger W. Freudigman
Cranston: Freudigman, Roger W., 76 died Thursday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.
Born in Cranston, a son of the late William H. and Hope Eddy (Simmons) Freudigman, he lived in New York and Boston for much of his life.
Roger was a history teacher in Los Angeles, a textbook editor in New York, a registration coordinator at the Lahey Clinic and a plating assistant at Swarovsky in Cranston retiring in 2004
Roger was a longstanding member the Nature Conservancy, National Wildlife Federation and the National Arbor Day Foundation.  He was also a member of the National Organization for Women (NOW), Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro Choice America, the SPCA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the Humane Society, the World wildlife Fund and the Wildlife Land Trust. He was a supporter of Amnesty Now, the ACLU and the early New York Mattachine when it was a civil rights organization.
Roger is survived by his brother Russell E. Freudigmann and his wife Linda of Lincoln and by two nieces.
His body was donated to Brown University Medical School. There will be no funeral.
