Largo Fl: Roberta “Robin” Burdick, 61, of Largo died on September 25, 2013 in Florida. She is survived by her significant other of 15 years, Jay Birnbaum.
Born in Warwick a daughter of the late Alexander “Sandy” and Rosalie Towle. She moved to Florida in 2007.
She was a graduate of Bowdoin College with a degree in Psychology and then worked as a rape and abuse counselor. After doing that for a number of years she worked designing kitchens.
She also leaves 2 brothers; Dick Towle of Hawaii and James Towle of Maine.
A memorial service will be held in R.I. at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
