Obituary for Joe Good Buzzell
Joseph Good “Joe” Buzzell, 29, of Providence died on Monday. He was the dear son of Guy and Bonnie Good Buzzell.
Joe was a graduate of Classical High School and an Eagle Scout. He graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with honors. He was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Rhode Island Hospital. But most of all he was a wonderful friend, son, brother, artist, musician, and philosopher.
Joe was fascinated by rhythms, sounds, shapes and patterns of all kinds. His passions were drawing and creating experimental electronic music. He displayed his artwork and performed his compositions on many occasions. Joe had an endless curiosity and thirst for knowledge. His kindness, creativity, wry humor and intelligence touched many and will be missed.
Besides his parents he leaves a brother, William Buzzell, and Will’s partner Cara Collins of Providence. His extended family includes his Godmother Becky Anderson; Chris, Lexi and Jason Anderson, William and Anna Kimes, and the Doughtys "across the street". He also leaves his grandmother and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The memorial service will be held Saturday at 10am in St Martin's Church, Orchard Ave., Providence. Burial will be private. Donations in Joe’s memory may be made to AS220, 115 Empire St., Providence, R.I. 02903.
