Obituary for Paula A. Salvo
Salvo, Paula A. Salvo, 57, of East Providence, died unexpectedly after a courageous battle with Lyme disease. Born in Germany she was a daughter of Jacqueline (Capone) Salvo and the late Carl Salvo, Jr., she was an East Providence resident for over 30 years.
Paula was a science teacher in the Providence Public Schools, teaching at Gilbert Stuart and Oliver Hazard Perry Schools. She was a graduate of Hope High School and the University of Rhode Island.
Besides her mother she leaves her Sister: Donna Salvo of East Providence, her brother: Carl J. Salvo of Middletown , a niece: Sage and a nephew Luke. An avid animal lover and animal rights activist, she also leaves her beloved dog: Blue.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Joseph Church, Hope St, Prov.. Burial will be in Swan point Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5-7pm. Donations in her memory may be made to the SPCA, 186 Amaral St., East Providence, RI 02915.
