Obituary for Joelle Freeman
North Providence:Â Freeman, Joelle H., 54, died Wednesday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.
Born in New York City, she was a daughter of Joan (Hayes) Upson of Palm Desert, CA and the late Hovey T. Freeman, Jr. She was the Step Daughter of Bert Upson. Joelle has lived in Rhode Island since 1972 and has been a North Providence resident for 10 years. She spent her childhood in Puerto Rico.
She was a graduate of Moses Brown in Providence.
Besides her mother and step father, she leaves her long time companion William Staples of North Providence and her brother Scott Freeman of Providence. She was the sister of the late Hovey T. Freeman III.
He funeral service will be held Monday at 11am in the Chapel of Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Burial will follow. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice Care of RI 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904
