Obituary for Margaret Marge Wilcox
Margaret Mary (Burke)“Marge” Wilcox, 89, formerly of Providence and Saunderstown passed away on January 22. She was the wife of the late Ralph I. Wilcox and sister of the late George F. Darling.
Marge was a graduate of The Lincoln School and Catherine Gibbs. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren who will greatly miss her eternal optimism and love of life. She faced all life’s challenges to the very end with grace, dignity and love of life. She was an example for all.
She leaves her four children: Thomas C. Wilcox and his wife Deborah Pass, Susan W. Greenfield and her husband Marc, Carol A. Wilcox and her husband Michael Medeiros, Margaret Kinnecom and her husband Andy, 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held TODAY MONDAY at 1pm in St Sebastian Church, Cole Ave. Providence. Burial will follow in St Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are omitted. Donations in her memory may be made to The Little Flower Home, 304 Hooper St., Tiverton, RI 02878.
