Obituary for Winifred Fran Vigneau
Winifred “Fran” Vigneau, 85, died Monday at the West Shore Health Center. She was the wife of the late George Vigneau and the late Fred Boudreau.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Birmingham) Waters. She lived in North Providence and before that Providence. She was also a long time summer resident of Cape Cod where she moved to in 1994.
She was a clerk for the SeaBees in Davisville for 23 years. She was a member of the Police Officer’s Emerald Society.
She leaves a sister Margaret Duffy of Providence; a niece Marianne Apice of Warwick, a nephew Timothy Duffy of Providence and 3 great nieces Lauren Paparian of Providence, Lenore D’Aguanno of Warwick and Ashley Apice of Cranston. She was the aunt of the late M. Susan Duffy.
The Funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St. Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St Michael Church, Oxford St. Providence.
