Obituary for Florence Hazel Dowding
Florence Hazel (Horton) Dowding passed away at age 83 on Wednesday, March 16, after a long illness. Hazel is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, James W. Dowding. She was born in Lambert Lake, Maine, to the late Thomas Havelock Horton and Florence Rebecca Howland Horton.
She is also survived by four children- David and Debra Dowding, Louise and (the late) Richard Woolf, John and Denise Dowding, and Alan and Roberta Dowding; as well as by eight grandchildren, and three great-granddaughters. She was predeceased by her son, James W. Jr., and two sisters. As she wished, her body was donated to Brown Medical School.
 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 11:00 AM at Spring Green Memorial Church. 1350 Warwick Ave., Warwick, RI 02888.
