Obituary for William Hayes O'Neill, Jr.
O’Neill, William H. Jr., 60, of Warwick, died Saturday November 17, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Pamela M. (Bowers) O’Neill.
Born in Rumford, the son of the late William O’Neill, Sr and the Claire Ann O’Neill (McGroarty). William worked as a truck driver for Centrex Distributors in West Greenwich, RI. He was the kindest, most generous and decent man to all who knew him. He will be sadly missed.
Besides his wife, he was the loving father to Christine McShane (Dave) and Kati Hersey (Mark). He was the grandfather of Keith Allen and Sylvia June. William was the brother of Claire (Frank) Tansey, Kathy (Matthew) Oliverio, Suzanne (Paul) Dupuis and the late James O’Neill. He had 10 nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10am in St. Peter's Church, 350 Fair Street Warwick, RI 02888 to which relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours Tuesday from 5 to 8pm at Monahan, Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman Street Providence. Burial will be private. Donation in loving memory of William can be made to St. Peter’s Church.
