Obituary for Charles R. Games
Charles R. Games, 92, of Pearl Ave. Rumford, died Sunday at the Eastgate Nursing Home in East Providence. Born in Providence he was the son of the late William and Emma (Hernandez) Games, he was a Rumford resident for over 65 years.
He worked as a draftsman for the former Brown & Sharpe Manufacturing Co. for over 20 years until retiring. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He leaves 3 nephews and 2 nieces.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:30 in St. Margaret’s Church, Pawtucket Ave., Rumford. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 5-7pm in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence. Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 245 Waterman St. #306., Providence, RI 02906.
