Todd James Wroe, 60, born in Pawtucket, RI, passed away on August 23, 2023, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his son Justin Wroe and his significant other, Dorothy O’Brien as well as her children Melissa St-Pierre, Brian St-Pierre, and Alyson St-Pierre whom he loved as his own. He also leaves behind his brother, John Mccaughey, and sisters Nicole Wroe, Danielle Costa, and Darlene Beaulieu, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, James William Wroe and his mother, Kathleen Harrop.
Todd will be fondly remembered as a proud devoted father, loyal friend and loving brother. He absolutely adored and loved Dorothy. He served his country with distinction as a proud patriot and veteran of the US Air Force.
Todd worked as a precision tool maker-machinist at Waters Corporation in Milford, Massachusetts for 20+ years. He loved to drive big rigs, owning his own trucking company 20 years ago where he and his father were able to spend countless hours together driving cross county. He also drove coach buses part time for many years.
Todd loved the winter where he would spend every chance he could at his and Dorothy’s chalet in Canada where he enjoyed going snowmobiling, sitting by the fire and visiting family, especially during sugar season.
The funeral will be held on September 1, 2023, at Monahan Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home located at 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914. The viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. continued by a memorial at 12:30 pm at the Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Todd’s name to Operation Standdown or Autism Project.
