Obituary for Claire F. Sennott
Claire Fredette Sennott of Providence, 84, died unexpectedly on Friday November 10, 2017. The daughter of the late Dr. John W. Fredette and Irene Murray Fredette, she was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania where she graduated from the Ellis School. She attended Pembroke College and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design. An extremely talented artist, she generously donated her time to Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design. She cherished her summers at her family home on Martha’s Vineyard. Known for her quick wit and generous spirit, she touched the lives of everyone she met.
She was the wife of the late Donald M. Sennott and was the loving and beloved mother of, Sheila Irene Sennott, Sean Fredette Sennott, Eilisa Aiken McDonnell and her son-in-law, Murray John McDonnell and the late Siobhan Ann McDonnell. She was the devoted grandmother of Jameson Sennott, Dennis Vogel, Jr., Lisle Vogel, Landon Vogel and John Vogel.
A memorial service will be held on Martha’s Vineyard in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to the Healing Arts Program at Hasbro Children’s Hospital Development Office, PO Box H, Providence, RI 02901.
