Dorothy J. Kenney, 96, of Rumford passed away at her daughter’s home in Warwick on March 7, 2022. She was the wife of the late William B. Kenney.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James and Jenny (Stanley) Lemon. She was a Rumford resident most of her life moving to Warwick a short while ago.
She leaves a son, Mark W. Kenney of Pawtucket, a daughter, Melissa Ann Silvia, and her husband Wayne, of Warwick and a grandson Matthew J. Kenney of Rumford.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 from the Monahan, Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home, 210 Taunton Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Margaret’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue at 9:30. Burial will be in Mt. St Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Friday 4-6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman Street, #306, Providence, RI 02906
