Obituary for Helen J. Maher
Helen J. Maher passed away peacefully on July 20, 2021. She was born on July 26, 1927 in San Francisco, California, the youngest of 6 children. She was married to Col. John W. Maher, USAR for fifty years who passed away before her. She was the beloved mother of Charles H. Maher and Brigid A. Maher (spouse Erik Vadnais). She leaves behind four grandchildren, Felippe Maher, Maeve Maher, Stanley Maher-Rippin, and Joe Maher-Rippin.
Her funeral mass will be held at St Mary of the Bay in Warren, Rhode Island on August 14 at 11:00am and she will be interned at Arlington National Cemetery with her husband later in the year. Donations can be made on behalf of Helen J. Maher to the American Cancer Society.
