Obituary for Jeannine M. Denecour
Jeannine Denecour, 58 of South Kingstown, RI passed away on January 31, 2021 after a long battle with cancer with her family and Chloe, her loyal dog by her side. She was born on April 6, 1962 in Key West, FL to Charles and Mildred Joyce Denecour while her Dad was stationed there in the Navy. She considered herself a lifelong Conch and went back any time she could. Jeannine was a hair stylist and small business owner for many years. She had many beloved clients who were like family. When she was originally diagnosed with cancer at 40, she became a resource for fellow cancer patients looking for hair replacement options to maintain a sense of normalcy during their battle. She had and loved many dogs and cats throughout her life and can now Rest In Peace reunited with Alex, Pumpkin, Grizzly, El Salvador, Molly, Sassy, Bella, Alice, Lola, and Bridget.
She is survived by her daughters Carissa Koski and her husband Michael Pollart, Taylor Clayton and her husband Donovan Clayton, their father Martin Koski, and her daughter by choice Amanda Louzon. She is survived by her mother Mildred Joyce (Hoelscher) Denecour and siblings Mark Denecour and his husband Peter Ripley, Ken Denecour, Anne Gibson and her husband Frank Gibson, Matt Denecour and his wife Jodi Viniello Denecour, Brian Denecour, and Kristen Denecour Murrin as well as many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her partner Skip Nelson. She is predeceased by her father Charles Denecour who she joins in heaven.
Jeannine’s celebration of life will be private due to COVID-19. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Animal Rescue Rhode Island or Hope Hospice.
