Obituary for Axel Pierre Anderson
Axel Pierre Anderson was born in Attleboro on 19 April 1991 and spent his first 18 years in Norton Massachusetts. He grew up speaking French and English, graduating from Norton High School in 2009.

Axel became a smooth snowboarder, a formidable bowler, a sensitive pianist, a sedulous worker, and a fearless drummer. According to a fellow musician and close friend, "We could anticipate what the other was going to do without giving any cues or even looking at each other. Truly special." The interest he took in music at an early age repaid him many times over as he matured. His big gentle heart earned him the admiration and devotion of everyone who knew him -human, feline, or canine. He had been with UPS in Warwick for 14 months when he died; he spoke with pride about the work he did there loading packages. "He was," wrote a longtime friend, "an incredibly gentle soul, a true friend and wonderfully kind person. He was Axel."

Axel is survived by his father Kirk Anderson of Norton, his mother Olivia Baudoin Anderson of Providence, his brother Elliot, grandmothers Ruth Anderson Bullock and Solange Baudoin, his uncles Erik Anderson, Leif Anderson, and Lionel Baudoin, as well as cousins Alexandra, Cooper, Jack, Simon, Marianne and Laure. If you were lucky enough to know Axel, his family would be especially grateful for any story about him you might post below or on his FaceBook page.
