William Henery of east Providence died Sunday at the Evergreen House in East providence. He was the husband of Carol (Wallis) Henery.
Born in New York City, he was a son of the late William and Carolyn (Struss) Henery.
He served in the Navy for 20 years as a Seal and upon his retirement from the military he worked in the post office in Barrington for 20 years.
Calling hours will begin on Saturday in Our lady of Mt Carmel Church, Taunton Ave. Seekonk at 10am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Stand Down R.I. 1010 Hartford Ave., Johnston, RI 02919 to help at need veterans.
