Vincent Paul Ferraioli, 90, of Westerly, passed away Friday afternoon, October 31, 2025. He was born September 17, 1935, in Providence, a son of the late Armando and Eva Ferraioli. He graduated from Massanutten Military Academy in Virginia, Providence College and went on to serve in the RI National Guard. In 1975, he shared his genuine love for food and hospitality when he opened “Vincent’s on the Hill” and later in 1988 “The Greenwich Tavern.” This is representative of his lifelong career as a well-known restaurateur.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Krause-Ferraioli, of 45 years, three sons Tom Ferraioli (Wenda), Ron Ferraioli, Michael Krause (Lauri), and a daughter Tiernan Boghosian (Paul). He was known as “Paka” by his seven adoring grandchildren: Philip, Nicole, Alisa, Briana, Grace, Courtney, Paul Jr., and three great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, November 9th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Monahan, Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 10th, 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian's Church in Providence.
