Obituary for Thomas F. Hannan
Thomas F Hannan., 72, of Seekonk passed away at home on Oct. 26th surrounded by family and friends. He was the son of the late Francis and Dorothy (Dean ) Hannan.
He was the President of Campus Liquors in Providence, which he purchased with his brother William in 1974, They owned the business for 38 years.
He served in the Army and was stationed in New York. He had also worked as an aircraft Mechanic at Quonset Point. He was past President of the Aero Club and had his pilots license. He was a sculptor and won many awards.
He is survived his daughter, Denise, and his granddaughter, Devon, his brother , William and sister-in-law, Sandra. He had many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Judy Tomaselli and Paul Hannan. He greatly appreciated the care and friendship from Jodi Casey, Douglas Beckett and Dr. Daniel Hochberger, many relatives, friends and hospice caretakers supporting him during his final days.
Friends are invited to greet the family beginning at 9am on Saturday in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman St., Providence followed by a funeral service at 10AM. Burial with Military honors will be in Swan Point Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Hope Hospice 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
