Obituary for Stacia Dzisko
Stacia T. Dzisko, 90 died Feb 21 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. Born on July, 14,1923 in Nashua, NH, she moved to Providence, RI as a child. She was a graduate of Hope HS and received a degree from Bryant College. She began her long and fruitful career at NE Telephone where she worked for numerous employers while never leaving her desk until her retirement some 25 years ago. Stacia was a member of the Telephone Co Pioneers and active in several senior groups through her life. She enjoyed time spent with her family and many friends and will be remembered and missed by many.

Stacia was one of 4 sisters. Anna Mikulis formerly of Prov, RI, Jennie Chieglis formerly of Fairborn, OH, and Bronka Augustyn formerly of Prov, RI preceded her from this life. Stacia leaves two nephews (Walter Augustyn of RI and Charles Mathews of TX), a niece (Cathy Gurecki of IN), several great-nephews and great-nieces, and two great-great nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at Monahan, Drabble, & Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence on Friday from 4pm to 7pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday  at 10am at St. Sebastian’s Church, Cole Ave. in Prov. In lieu of flowers, donations to her memory to Meals on Wheels will be appreciated.
