Obituary for Sonia Galletti
Galletti, Sonia of Providence and Little Compton passed away on May 28, 2017 at the age of 86 years old. She was the wife of the late Dr. Pierre Galletti, a co-founder of the Brown University Medical School.
Mrs. Galletti, who was born in Paris, France, volunteered for a number of organizations in Providence and formerly served as President of the Butler Hospital Auxiliary, President of the Alliance Francaise of Providence, and Treasurer of the Handicraft Club of Rhode Island. She is survived by her son Marc, daughter-in-law Meg, and two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Hampton. The funeral and burial will be private.
