Obituary for Sheri Lynne Phillips
Phillips, Sheri Lynne, 53, of Saunderstown passed away Feb. 4 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Norm and Elaine Guernon and wife of Peter Phillips.
Sheri was a graduate of Burrillville High School and Stonehill College, majoring in accounting. She worked in the retail banking and investment divisions of Fleet Bank until the birth of her first child in 2004. From that point on Sheri was a dedicated mother to her two sons, Ryan and Benjamin, of whom she was so incredibly proud. In addition to raising her sons, she was a talented artist and baker, and enjoyed vacationing with her family, especially in Walt Disney World. Those who knew her say, ‘She had a beautiful soul’.
Besides her husband, she leaves her beloved children, Ryan and Benjamin Phillips; a brother, Thomas Guernon and his wife Ann; a sister, Dina Vieira and her husband Joe; Sister in law Deborah and her husband David Marisi; and five nephews and three nieces.

WHILE THE FAMILY WISHES EVERYONE CAN ATTEND, THE COVID REGULATIONS FOR THE CHURCH ALLOW FOR A PRIVATE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE HELD FOR THE FAMILY AT SAINT MARY'S CHURCH.
