Obituary for S. Thea Kent
Kent, S. Thea Kent , 90, of Providence died Tuesday at Tockwotton on the Waterfront. A lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Shirley (Larrabee) Kent.
Thea was a switchboard operator for the former C.E. Maguire Inc. for 17 years, retiring in 1985. She was a longtime member of the Phillips Baptist Church in Cranston.
She leaves a brother Larned Kent and his wife, Audrey, of North Ft. Myers, FL and 2 nieces, Wendy Kent Krampitz of Geneva, IL and Lisa Nungester of Ft. Myers, FL.
A funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Historic Chapel of Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Burial will follow. Donations in her memory may be made to SPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915.
