Obituary for Ruth Greco
Ruth (Monahan) Greco, 74, of Rumford passed away June 23rd at RI Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Richard Greco.
Born and raised in Boston, a daughter of the late George and Mary (McGee) Monahan. She was a Rumford resident for 43 years.
Ruth enjoyed genealogy and researching family history and was a talented oil painter. She was a warm and social person who loved spending time with her friends and family.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Daniel Greco and his wife Erin and Gregory Greco and his wife Lauren, and a grandson, Benjamin Greco, She also leaves a brother, James Monahan and a sister, Sr. Rose Monahan, SND and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 am in ST. Margaret’s Church, Pawtucket Ave Rumford to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery. Calling hours Monday 4-8pm in the Monahan, Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman Street, Providence. In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory may be made to Crossroads Rhode Island, 160 Broad Street, Providence, RI 02903.
