Obituary for Phyllis A. Nazareth
Phyllis Ann Nazareth (White), 91, of Warwick Neck, passed away peacefully in
her sleep on January 2, 2022, after a long illness. She grew up in the Pontiac
section of Warwick and graduated from Cranston High School in 1948.
While an employee of American Airlines, Phyllis met and married Nathaniel
(Nat) Nazareth, who became her beloved husband for 65 years. Phyllis
happily left the airline to start a family, and she and Nat were blessed with four children, Nathaniel, Jr., Brett, Stacey Jacobellis, and Craig. Phyllis is survived by Nat, her children, Stacey’s husband, Jake, Craig’s wife, Judye, nine
grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. Phyllis is preceded in death by
her mother, Annie Lang Rice, her father, Otis Fenner White, and her grandson,
Alexander Nazareth.
A gifted painter and avid gardener, Phyllis loved her family first and sailing
New England’s waters second. She will be sorely missed.
Per Phyllis’ wishes, calling hours will not be held, but a funeral mass and
