Michael J. Carmone, Jr., 72, of Providence passed away peacefully Thursday at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was the husband of Patricia O’Hara.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Michael J. and Rosario (Aquino) Carmone.
Besides his wife Patricia, he leaves one son, Michael O. Carmone and his companion, Kimberlene Thomas. He was the brother of Antone Carmone and his wife Jo Ellen, Mary Scalise, Rosemarie Chauvin and her husband Edward. He leaves many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the Monahan, Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman Street Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, Hope Street Providence at 11am. Burial in St Ann’s Cemetery. Calling hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St Joseph Church Endowment Fund, 92 Hope Street, Providence, RI 02906
