Obituary for Mary Lou Daly
Mary Lou Daly, 64 of Newport died November 5th. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Mary Lou (Doherty) and W. Norbert Daly. Mary Lou was a graduate of Elmhurst Academy of the Sacred Heart. She attended Dunbarton College and graduated from American University. Mary Lou held various positions throughout her life. Those she enjoyed most were providing child care to her nephew and as a personal assistant to several families in Newport. She was a member of the Redwood Library in Newport and a former member of the University Club of Boston. She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Daly Verde of Farmington, CT, Susan Daly of Newport and Jane Daly of Boston, MA, her brothers William N. Daly and his wife Susan of Portsmouth and James D. Daly of Providence. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 from the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St. Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Sebastian Church, Cole Ave. at 10am. Calling Thursday 4-7pm.
