Obituary for Mary Leddy
Mary (Kozar) leddy, finally admitting to be 94,  of Rumford, RI and Vero Beach, FL, wife of William J. Leddy, daughter of the late Henry and Rose (Duneyeski) Kozar died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, September 11.  
 
Mary was a graduate of Central Falls High (1937), was a member of the RI Honor Society, and active in the Drama Club. She was then employed at Valley Gas & Electric, the RI State House and also at IBM.  She then stayed home to raise her children.
 
Mary was a member of St. Margaret’s in Rumford for 56 years where she later worked as a secretary/ bookkeeper for 14 years, was an active member of the Women’s Club, the choir, and was a troop leader for the Girl Scouts. She was also a parishioner of Holy Cross Parish in Vero Beach where she and her husband spent the winter months for the past 27 years.
 
She enjoyed golf, bridge, shuffleboard, painting, and entertaining. Inseparable from her loving husband of 62 years, she particularly enjoyed time spent with her family. She is survived by children, Tricia Leddy (Paul Langhammer) of East Greenwich, Kathleen Leddy (Randy Titsworth) of Seekonk, and Billy Leddy (Marie-Christine) of Nendaz, Switzerland; and eight grandchildren, Katrina, Nolan, and Mark Langhammer, Kyle, Clem, and Rob Titsworth, and Theo and Lucas Vonlanthen.  She was sister of the late Alfred Kozar.
 
Funeral Monday at 9am from Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman St., Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Margaret’s Church, Pawtucket Ave., Rumford.  Calling hours Sunday 4-7 pm.  Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket.
 
The family would be grateful for donations to St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Cemetery, 71 Manville Hill Road, Cumberland, RI  02864-2399 where Mary’s parents are buried.  Condolences may be left at monahandrabblesherman.com
