Obituary for Mary A. Brett
Mary A. Brett, 78, of Rehoboth, died Monday at the Life Care Center in Attleboro. She was the wife of Charles E. Brett.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph & Casimera (Chrostowska) Kandzierski. She was a Rehoboth resident for 30 years.
Mary was an active member of Mt. Carmel Church, working with the children as a CCD instructor and she sang in the church choir. An active equestrian she was a member of the Bay State Trail Riders Association.
Besides her husband, she leaves 3 children, Lisa Ann Brett of Trumbull, CT, Mark Brett of Rehoboth and Keith J. Brett of North Lauderdale, FL., 2 granddaughters, Briana Shore of Trumbull, CT and Amelia Brett of North Lauderdale. She was the sister of the late Regina Bolton.
The funeral will be held Friday at 10am from the Monahan, Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman Street in Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial in Mt. Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Ave., Seekonk at 11am. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours Thursday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Life Care Center, 969 Park Ave, Attleboro, MA 02703.
