Obituary for Margaret T. Farren
Margaret T.  "Marge" Farren, 91 formerly of Orient Avenue, Pawtucket died Thursday at Victoria Court.  She was the wife of the late Roger P. Farren, Sr.  Born in Cambridge, MA a daughter of the late Thomas and Marianne (Ferguson) Arkins, she was a Pawtucket resident for 50 years.  Marge was an employee of the Pawtucket School Department for 10 years.  She was an officer in the St. Leo the Great Tabernacle Society, a charter member of Catholics for Life, former president of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, and a member of the Third Order of Mary.  She was a daily communicant at St. Mary’s Church in Seekonk, a member of their senior citizens club, and a CCD teacher.  She leaves a son:  Roger P. Farren, Jr. of Cranston, 2 daughters:  Mary Farren McDonald of Austin, TX and Maggi Farren Taurone of Walpole, MA and 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons.  She was the mother of the late Marianne Farren and Rusty Farren.  A memorial Mass will be held Monday, August 12 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole MA at 11 AM.  Donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906-5215.
