Lucia Fellows Palmer, age 73, of Tiverton, Rhode Island, passed away on October 22, 2025. Born on March 5, 1952, in St. Paul, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Richard Boyce Fellows and Lucy Guye Meyer.
Lucia graduated from St. Paul Academy, Wellesley College, and the University of Minnesota Medical School. She built a distinguished career in emergency medicine and radiology.
A devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Lucia is survived by her husband of 39 years Jonathan; daughter Helen and son-in-law Terence; son Robbie; grandson Cameron; brothers Richard Boyce Fellows and his wife Anne Fellows, Jonathan Boyce Fellows and his wife Maureen Fellows; and sister Helen Matthews, as well as 7 nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
She had many friends from every stage of her life, who she enjoyed talking to and spending time with. An avid birdwatcher, she found joy and wonder in nature and traveled the world in pursuit of it.
A memorial will be held on November 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Swan Point Cemetery in Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Audubon Society in her memory.
