Obituary for Joan Elizabeth Gannon
Joan Elizabeth Gannon (Keddy) 82, of Warwick died peacefully at home on July 25th. Born in Kentville, Nova Scotia Canada, she was a resident of Warwick for over 60 years. She was employed by Electric Boat Quonset and was with the Warwick Public Library until quite recently. Joan was very artistic, she loved painting, knitting and was an excellent figure skater. She had a special love of all things feline.
Joan is the daughter of the late Archibald Keddy and Helen Ramey Keddy of Pictou, Nova Scotia. She is survived by a son, Steven of Plantation Florida, a daughter, Julie of Warwick, and a sister, Susan LeBlanc of Nova Scotia.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 30th at 11 a.m. at Swan Point Cemetery Chapel in Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to RI SPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915
