Born on August 1, 1946, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Jean was the son of Joseph and Gertrude
Laprade. He proudly served his country as a sergeant in the United States Air Force, stationed in
Okinawa, Japan. His time in the military was a meaningful chapter in his life and reflected his
dedication and sense of duty.
Jean was predeceased by his beloved wife, Cecile Laprade. Together they built a life centered
around love and family. He is survived by his son Daniel Laprade and daughter-in-law Jennifer
Laprade. He also leaves behind two cherished granddaughters, Delaney and Zoe Laprade, who
brought him immense joy. He loved being a pepere.
Jean found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. He loved vacationing and looked forward to
Sunday brunches and meals shared with family. His cat "Buddy" was a constant companion and
source of comfort. Known for his fun-loving spirit, Jean brought warmth and laughter to those
around him.
Burial will be private. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
