Obituary for Jean Prendergast
Jean M. Prendergast, 84, of Warwick died Friday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late John and Jane (Doherty) Prendergast.
Jean was an evening supervisor in the admitting office at RI Hospital until retiring in 1992. She was a graduate of the Academy of the Sacred Heart, Elmhurst and Katherine Gibbs School. She also attended Rosemont College.
She is survived by her brother John J. Prendergast of Annapolis, MD, two nephews, four nieces and several grandnephews and nieces and one great grandnephew.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 from the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Peter’s Church, Fair St., Warwick. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Pascoag. Calling hours Tuesday 5-8pm
