Obituary for Janet L. Fians
Janet L. Fians, 60, of Cumberland died unexpectedly on Tuesday at home. Janet was a Principal Employment & Training Interviewer for the State of RI for 27 years. She loved music, movies, reading and spending Saturdays with her family.
She leaves her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Thom Farrell, her granddaughters, Shannon L. and Colleen M. Farrell all of Lincoln and a nephew, Zachary Suffoletto of FL. She was the daughter of the late Elsie M. Sousa and the sister of John Stokler of S. Attleboro, Stanley Stoker of Woonsocket, Susan Rezendes of Cumberland, and Barbara Ryan of A. Attleboro. She was sister of the late Linda D. Suffoletto.
Janet's family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4pm in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral home 230 Waterman St., Providence. Burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made at stationfirememorialfoundation.org/donate.
