Obituary for James A. Hall

Seekonk: James A. Hall, 89, a long time Seekonk resident died on February 1, 2026 at the Evergreen House in East Providence. He was the husband of Linda J. (Pray) Hall for 67 years.

Born in Providence a son of the late Arthur and Inez (Williams) Hall, he was a Seekonk resident for over 60 years

He was a crew leader for Teknor Apex where he worked for over 40 years retiring 25 years ago. He served as a Pack Leader for the cub Scouts and established a Cub Scout Pack for Special Needs Children in Seekonk. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War as a Radar operator. He was a Member of the American Legion.

He leaves his children Cynthia Kiessling of East Providence, Mark Hall of Seekonk, Elizabeth Chesser of Hanover Park, IL. and Melissa Oliver of Pawtucket, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was the brother of Robert Hall of Altoona, PA, Joseph Hall of Gambrills, MD and Russell Hall of Ft. Myers, FL. and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his two cats Kit and Smudge.

Calling hours Monday March 9thj from 4-6pm in the Monahan Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home 210 Taunton Ave. East Providence. Burial with military honors will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to the Diabetes Association, 4 South Main St., Fall River, MA 02721
