Faubert, Irene R. (Durant), 95, of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Hope Health Hospice Center. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Eva (Wispalis) Durant. She was the wife of the late Edward Faubert. She was also the sister of the late Louis Durant of Spencer, MA.
Irene is survived by her children Jo-Ann Junod of Warwick, RI, Jacqueline Rossi of Warwick, RI, Edward Faubert and his wife Trisha from Virginia Beach, Virginia, grandchildren Ronald J. Faubert, Benjamin E. Carpenter, Brandon C. Faubert, Tyler W. Faubert, two great-grandchildren and three step grand-children.
Resided in Cranston for many years before moving in with her daughter in Warwick.
She was a 1950 graduate of Roger Williams General Hospital School of Nursing. She volunteered at Hasbro Children’s Hospital and with Operation Smile where she served on eleven Missions to third world countries, her favorite being Africa.
Irene has donated her body to the Brown Anatomical Gift Program. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory to Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 would be greatly appreciated
