Obituary for Harriet Block
Harriet Block, 88, of Warwick died Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Center. Harriet is predeceased by her husband, Seymour Block and her son, Steven Block.
Born in New York, Harriet lived in Cranston and Warwick for over 60 years. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Slaughter and Ellen Bensusan and husband Rick, in Rhode Island and Jeffrey Block and wife Debbie from Georgia. Harriet also has four beloved grandchildren, Ariana Bensusan, Rachel Block, Zachary Bensusan and Nicole Slaughter.
A celebration of Harriet’s life will be held on Saturday, November 22 from 5-8 PM at Greenwich Farms Assisted Living, 75 Minnesota Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sstarbirth, 80 East Street, Cranston, RI. 02920.
