Obituary for Gloria T. Cappelli
Gloria T. Cappelli, 87 of Providence passed away on Thursday at Hatti Ide Chaffee Nursing Home. She was the wife of Anthony F. Cappelli.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Nicholas & Theresa Meleo. Gloria was a Communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church for many years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Michael A. Cappelli and his wife Sarah of Wakefield, a daughter, Margherita Cappelli and her husband Jean Raymond, of Providence, her beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Andrew Cappelli and Hemry and Catherine Raymond. She was the sister of the late Anthony Meleo and Mary Hughes.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Monahan, Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman St., Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Raymond Church, North Main Street Providence at 10am. Burial will be in St Ann’s Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday 4 to 7pm. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Raymond Church, 2 Matilda St., Providence, RI
