Obituary for G. Paul Damon
G. Paul Damon of Jamestown passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, November 2, 2015, after a short illness.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Cynthia Leonard and his only child, Mackenzie Damon, also of Jamestown, whom he adored.
Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late George W. and Eleanor (Jacques) Damon. He was the brother of Kristine Damon and Jacqueline Waddington, and her husband Robert, all of Warwick. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Paul loved to sail and was a member of the Conanicut Yacht Club. He also enjoyed golfing, cooking, and advocating for Lyme disease awareness and prevention. Most of all, he cherished being with his family.
Services are private. The family invites friends to visit on Thursday, November 5, from 3 to 7 pm at his residence.
